Ron Jeremy has officially joined the cast of Why Not Weiss, a mainstream web series created by Sean Adair (VFX artist on Fantastic Four, Agents of SHIELD, and Twilight: Breaking Dawn) and partner Shaun Weiss (actor, Freaks and Geeks and Mighty Ducks) which follows real life 90s child star Weiss as he struggles to care for his aging father, while working with his best friend to find fame in Hollywood once again. Jeremy has been cast as Charlie Weiss, Shaun’s overbearing and amorous father, who has recently been kicked out of the nursing home where he lived thanks to his unchecked and vociferous libido.
In a recent press release, Weiss recounts his initial meeting with Ron Jeremy as he signed autographs at the Exxxotica Expo in Edison, NJ. “When I first saw him for a split second, I actually thought he was my father who had recently passed away. I sat down next to him and introduced myself. Boom! Instant Field of dreams moment; it was like playing catch with your dad again. He’s the only person we could have recast in the role originally played by the real Charles Weiss.”
Adair added, “Nobody has ever seen Ron in this light before. He’s a believable actor with powerful screen presence and an incredibly funny improvisationalist.”

On Wednesday’s episode of the Daily Show (2/3/16), the show aired a segment tackling the issue of racism within the adult industry. According to AVN, “In the piece, Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. discusses the issue with industry luminaries Misty Stone, Prince Yahshua and Lisa Ann, as well as sex therapist and author Dr. Marty Klein, bringing particular focus to the racist bent of many a title (Black Wives Matter, 12 Inches a Slave, Black Bull for Hire) and the only-in-porn practice among a considerable portion of the white female talent pool of charging more to work with black men.”
The scene culminates “with a fantasy all-colors-of-the-rainbow orgy scene featuring Stone, September Reign, Lauren Phillips, Priya Rai, Luna Star, Nikita Denise, Tony Martinez and, natch, Ron Jeremy.”
