Legend Ron Jeremy has added yet another musical credit to his long list of impressive achievements. This week, the L.A. based band Hexthrower, who is described on their website as “musical denizens of our earthly realm trapped floating in a cosmic time capsule in the outer void,” released a new video for the song “Hyena,” a track off of their latest album Mythos Tragoedia.
Jeremy, known for being the king of parodies, is featured in this “satirical and absurdist” music video spoof directed by Kevin Schofield, and based on Alejandro Jodorowsky’s cult-classic The Holy Mountain. The original title is a surreal fantasy film that was, in part, funded by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and was shown at a number of international film festivals including Cannes in 1973.

We all know Ron Jeremy has huge…..talents, but did you know they extended into the musical realm as well?
Last year, Ron, in conjunction with Black Country Rock/Thirty Tigers, released a 7” record single entitled, “Understanding and Appreciating Classical Music with Ron Jeremy,” in which Ron is “performing and discussing classical music at a piano.” The single also appears (appropriately) as track 7 on the 2014 BCR Mixtape.
